About the team
We are a small team made up of technical analysts and business analysts supporting European Systematics clients. We have team members from around the world including additional colleagues helping to support us from a different offshore team. Although we are not physically close to each other we have worked together for many years and the team are very knowledgeable in their field. This is an opportunity to become part of a well-established team with long standing client relationships.
What you will be doing
We support our clients with not only scheduled changes but also the day to day running of the application. We have been working with our main client for over 15 years and the relationship is strong. Therefore, the role will require exposure to the client on various calls and meetings to guide them when support is required.
Tasks will include
- Analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
- Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
- Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
- Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.
- Writes test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
- Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.
- Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
- Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
- Reports and reviews testing results.
What you bring
We are looking for a BA who has a basic knowledge of the financial sector, experience in loans is preferable but not a requirement. The candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual who would like to support the team and also the client moving into the next phase of the project. Our group is senior and therefore there is an element of knowledge transfer required to ensure that there are no gaps in support moving forward.
