The internship will fast track your skills and knowledge and would be ideal for a veterinary professional who is considering starting a certificate. This is a really exciting position, more than just an internship, you will help manage cases, scrub in and work closely with our referral clinicians.

Vale Referrals is located within a modern purpose built, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital and offers advanced treatment options in medicine, soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, cardiology, ophthalmology and oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in each rotation, assisting senior clinicians and specialists.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Assist in surgeries, procedures, and emergency cases, honing your skills in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care for all patients.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities throughout the internship program.

To be eligible to apply you will need

  • A Veterinary degree which is recognised by the RCVS.
  • To be Registered with the RCVS.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
