I started training in Store as a Store Assistant and quickly learnt the skills needed to be a Store Manager and run the Store as my own. I led a team of up to 40 members of staff in a Store which had a turnover of over £400,000 a week! This was a big task at only 21 years old, but by having this level of exposure I felt like I had a direct impact on the success of the Store and Aldi, whilst getting to improve my own skills and abilities. I would highly recommend the Placement to any individual who is interested in management roles and the Area Manager Graduate Programme. My Placement with Aldi opened so many doors and provided me with exciting opportunities.
