Our view on sustainability and social impact
As a firm, we take our responsibility to society seriously. It’s in line with our core values – excellence, integrity, and supportiveness – to consider the impact of our business on wider society and our potential to contribute meaningfully through partnerships and pro bono work.
Initiatives
We are proud to be making a measurable impact across the community through a range of initiatives.
Missing people
Missing People is a charity we have partnered with since 2015. It is a lifeline for the 250,000 children and adults that go missing each year in the UK and the loved ones that they leave behind.
In addition to ongoing fundraising, we use our commercial strategy expertise to help Missing People explore new avenues for revenue generation, evaluate its existing activities and understand its customers to ensure the charity sustains its vital services for the long term.

Firefly International
We have a longstanding relationship with the charity Firefly International. Firefly supports locally-led artistic and educational projects in Bosnia and the Middle East that create safe, supportive and inclusive spaces for young people to grow, learn and thrive.
We’ve supported Firefly since 2009 by helping with administrative support, office space, fundraising, and sponsorship.
Sustainability
CIL is a rapidly growing company. While this makes it a dynamic and fascinating workplace, it also means our environmental footprint is growing. We continually work to improve our supply chain and minimize our footprint. Recent small initiatives include encouraging the reduction of single-use plastics, e.g. allowing employees to expense the cost of a reusable coffee cup.
Dorothy House
Another charity CIL is proud to support with pro bono work is Dorothy House Hospice Care. Dorothy House provides compassionate care and support for people in the community with a life-limiting illness. It focuses on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well.
This charity also gives care and support to patients and their families, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of its outreach centres.
