Reporting to the Head of Analytics, you are responsible for providing your Commercial colleagues (and their clients) with a first-class level of data analysis and insight.

Mathematical and analytical, you are able to clearly communicate and rationalise your hypothesises, output and conclusions - always taking complete ownership of specific campaigns, be it CRO, UX studies, campaign analysis/forecasting.

It’s all about using data and insight to deliver a robust return on investment for our clients.

Your responsibilities

  • To extract, analyse and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources (media, client and competitor) to identify opportunities and trends, and contribute meaningful, actionable and valuable insight to help our clients maintain their growth strategies.
  • To pro-actively support key stakeholders with reporting deliverables and templates. Plus, to manage their expectations with regards to the timely delivery of projects.
  • To produce regular tracking and trafficking reports and propose improvements to be made.
  • To provide end-to-end delivery of our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) service.
  • To ensure each of your clients has a clear roadmap of activity that directly contributes to their business ambitions and objectives.
  • To use techniques from basic Excel formulas, through to benchmarking, forecasting, attribution modelling and share of search analysis, to deliver broad top-line reports and deep dives.
  • To take accountability for the quality and accuracy of your analysis and troubleshoot your hypotheses and response.
  • To continually update your understanding of the processes involved in delivering our Digital services and, when appropriate, contribute new ideas that will develop these and our analytics services.
  • To attend internal/external training sessions as appropriate in order to increase skill set and propose/commission external training when required. Plus, to be responsible for keeping up to date with new analytical techniques, platforms, and ways of working as well as sharing best practice skills with colleagues.
  • To attend, prepare for and participate in one-to-one/team meetings that will review/guide performance (including appraisals), share ideas and initiatives, communicate objectives and agree sales plans/focus.
  • To recognise the importance and benefits of effective team working, assisting colleagues and providing cover as and when required. This includes maintaining effective communication links with other departments/teams/individuals across the business, with particular emphasis on ensuring data is collected, analysed and applied appropriately.
  • To act as an effective, professional ambassador for the company at all external events, conferences and presentations when required.
  • To undertake special projects and tasks as and when required.

Who we’re looking for

A proactive and highly analytical Data Analyst to play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

You’ll be responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting complex data sets to examine media performance, generate meaningful insights and deliver conversion rate optimisation projects.

Experienced in data analysis is preferred but not essential. So, if you’re meticulous, have excellent problem-solving, time management, and prioritisation skills, and enjoy lots of autonomy and responsibility, this could be the opportunity you’re looking for.
