We’ve now opened the recruitment process for our 2024 trainee intakes. If successful you would most likely join us on one of three inductions; these are being held in March, July and September
Albert Goodman have 5 offices across the South West; Taunton, Yeovil, Weymouth, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. Whilst completing your application you will be able to select which of these locations you’d like to be considered for.

The role
Depending on your academic history and experience, you will be completing a chosen training qualification – this could be the AAT, ACA or ACCA. We also offer specialist Tax qualifications – ATT and CTA. Alongside studying, you will be an integral member of the team, providing a professional service to clients and gaining the hands-on experience needed to become a qualified accountant.

To achieve a qualification and to consistently give the best and most up to date advice to clients, you will need to be competent at studying and passing exams. Your historic academic or professional results are used as a guide when shortlisting, however we will also consider other factors such as experience, other qualifications and skills. As an indicator for the following qualifications, we look for:
- AAT / ATT – Ideally a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English and a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent)
- ACA / ACCA – Ideally a minimum of a 2:2 in your degree or equivalent, although the subject of your degree is not important
