We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Graduate Radiographer to join our PET-CT Unit at The Jack Brignall PET-CT Centre, based at Castle Hill hospital.

We are inviting applications from Student Radiographers, but to start your role you must hold a BSc/MSc in Radiography or other recognised qualification, have current UKHCPC Registration or be eligible for or in the registration process for UKHCPC.

You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme and during the preceptorship you will gain experience in PET-CT.

About the role

If you are a newly qualified radiographer or in your final year of study, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a dynamic roleand to support your learning  Alliance Medical have a robust Clinical Competency Framework and can provide the essential training you will need to help you learn and develop your skills and knowledge. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and Clinical Competency Pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors. You will see your skills develop and salary increase as you progress through the key stages of your training. The training will be “on the job.” You will also have access to our PET-CT Academy supported by the Christie School of Oncology.

The starting salary is in line with AFC Band 5

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Technologists/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.  Hep B immunisation is necessary for this role.

The hours for this role are 40 hours per week Monday – Sunday

There is no on call commitment for this role.
