Avensys are one of the UK’s leading Bio-Medical Engineering companies, supplying and maintaining medical equipment as well as providing training to the nations (and in some cases beyond!) Bio-Medical Engineers.
The company has continued its growth for almost 17 years, where by almost 5 years ago we were purchased by a German company Hermed, which has opened up many opportunities for us and has seen our growth rate increase.
Despite our relatively new ownership, there is very much a family feel about the company, with the founder and CEO in every day and often found singing in the kitchen!
The role
You will embark on a fast track programme of learning and development. Based at our Head Office in Kidderminster, you will join a rotational programme where you will learn the fundamental processes of the operation to the business across all areas. A keen interest in medical engineering will be beneficial.

Main responsibilities
- Participating in the rotational programme which in turn introduces you to our key functions and colleagues alike.
- Day to day assistance to department managers in the delivery of projects and other operational duties.
- Analysis of data, making recommendations for business improvement.
- Forging long lasting professional relationships with stakeholders across the company.
- Gaining insight and thorough understanding of all all department functions, inclusive of but not limited to, Equipment Sales & Solutions, Engineering Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, Account Management, Contracts, Finance and Logistics.
- Communicating effectively whilst implementing change and devising strategy to help form the future of the business.
About you
We are seeking graduates that are ambitious, passionate and adaptable with the motivation to help grow the future of the success of our business. You will continuously receive individual mentoring from senior managers across the business to support you in reaching your full potential and building your career within the management structure of our dynamic organisation.
This role will require you to have achieved a 2:1 classification or higher in a Management, Business, Marketing or Engineering Degree. Interpersonal skills alongside the potential to lead others will be key attributes we are looking for. A driven and proactive approach to learning and adapting to an ever changing environment is essential. The ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail through problem solving and analytical skills.
The terms
- Salary: £26,000
- Contract Term: Fixed Term (2 years)
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Annual Leave: 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to a maximum of 27 days).
