The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art are very excited to be offering the opportunity for a person with a real passion for finance to join our team as a Finance Assistant.
Baltic is housed in a former flour mill on the historic banks of the River Tyne in Gateshead. A dramatic landmark building, the gallery hosts an ever-changing calendar of exhibitions and events.
The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Finance Assistant with a keen eye for detail to work within our Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will assist with the day-to-day activities of the Finance Department, financial processing, and the delivery of timely and accurate financial information.
About you
As a Finance Assistant, the ideal candidate will need the following attributes, a minimum of one year experience in a finance role, experience working with Sage/Cloud financial software or comparable accounting software, experience of financial data processing and advanced Excel skills.
