About the role

This role is an integral part of the data migration element of our re-platforming project and will help us to ensure that our data is migrated and managed correctly. The role will focus on the checking and validation of our content against source publisher information, helping to identify and solve issues which may arise as a part of this validation work and working on the classification of our content library.

Key duties

  • To validate document library content. Locating content on original publisher websites and ensuring all details are correct. Highlighting issues, discrepancies and any content which can’t be located.
  • Assisting with any problem solving around content data which may arise.
  • To input information/data onto the database and amend existing data, as required. Data to be input to the agreed format and standard.
  • To work with the wider Barbour content teams, particularly in relation to query management.
  • To work to a predefined schedule.

What you will need

Essential

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • High level of accuracy and ability to be thorough when completing tasks.
  • A good level of English.
  • Happy to work to deadlines.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Previous experience of using a CMS would be beneficial.
