Our Commercial & Sales scheme consists of 6-month placements that span across our commercial and sales divisions. As part of this scheme, you will be educated on our Group and our customer base and will get the opportunity to work with both corporate clients and customers.
Placements will take place in locations such as Manchester, London, Milton Keynes and across the UK so you need to be happy with frequent overnight stays.
A senior mentor and a buddy will be provided to support you and make sure you get the most out of each rotation. We do expect you to make the most of these placements and maximise your experience. You will be part of a larger cohort of graduates in other business areas and this community provides a great source of insight and experience you can draw on.
What you’ll do
- Once you apply online, we will review your CV and experience. If it feels like a good fit, you will be invited to a video interview to answer some questions about you and why you have applied for this scheme – it is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and find out what you know about us.
- Candidates who are shortlisted after the video interview will have a virtual interview, and then they will be invited to come along to an Assessment Centre at one of our sites (with expenses refunded). This is an opportunity to meet some of the team, including old and current graduates. It will also give you a good insight into life at Constellation Automotive Group. This is a fun day and you will learn a little about yourself, too!
- You’ll develop commercial acumen and understanding, as well as negotiation skills, objection handing and customer service skills
- You’ll develop soft skills such as emotional intelligence, communication and interpersonal skills
- Learn how to perfect your presentation skills and personal impact
- Project management skills and improving efficiencies including working collaboratively during placements
- Develop your management capability to be a future leader of Constellation Automotive Group
Who you are
- 2:1 degree or above, or predicted if graduating in 2024
- Right to work in the UK, we are unable to sponsor on a skilled worker visa for this role and we cannot accept graduate visas
- You will need to be driven, proactive in your approach and confident to collaborate
- A strong communicator, both written and oral, who builds relationships with stakeholders and can influence others
