We have an exciting opportunity to join our Content Team as a Junior SEO Content Editor. This is a full time & permanent office-based role at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.

Reporting to our Senior SEO Specialist this is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for you to join a FTSE 100 fast-paced retail organisation. This is perfect if you have already have 6-12 months experience in the same role inhouse or agency-side or equally recently graduated with a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.

We are looking for someone with great writing skills and SEO knowledge who will create great content and ensure it is fully optimised across all channels.

Key responsibilities

Content Writing & Content Optimisation

Supporting, learning from and making your own mark with our SEO Specialist to write great content in the form of articles, blogs related to our diverse range of products. With over 740 stores in the UK and growing, you will be tasked with producing content that our customers (over 6 million) will love.

You can collaborate with colleagues from other teams to source and fact find for content then over to you to update our website content and ensure that all media channels are optimised for maximum reach and impact. You'll also need to aware of relevant keywords in your writing so we strike the perfect balance of SEO best practice and appeal.

Technical SEO & Performance Analysis

  • With development and training be able to perform comprehensive website audits and technical enhancements to boost SEO and be all over industry trends and algorithm updates so we can adapt and shape to suit. Collectively you'll need to analyse performance to ensure that we align to the set Key Performance Indicators and strategy.
  • AI Integration; this is really important to us and will be looking for you to investigate creative ways to incorporate AI into our strategy. This role is all about having a creative mindset with a passion for product and making it come to life online.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • 6 -12 months in a Junior Content role (inhouse or agency) or a recent graduate (Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related degree)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, keen eye for detail and grammar and a natural flair for storytelling techniques
  • Knowledge and appreciation of AI in SEO, ranking factors & paid social platforms
  • A "sponge" who will embrace constructive feedback, training and support in our fast-paced environment
  • Be a "planner" always be focused on "to do" and a deadline but be prepared to adapt to priorities changing
  • The ability to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
