You will be covering maternity leave and working with our busy and highly motivated Fine Art Auction team that together operate a wide range of Fine Art auctions on a monthly basis. This is a great opportunity to have an accountancy role in an exciting and dynamic department within Cheffins.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for managing the Fine Art department auction day accounts and will work closely with the firm’s accounts department. You will also provide front of house support, answer telephone calls, emails and deal with members of the public on a daily basis.

Main purpose/scope of the role:

  • Management of the Fine Art auction day accounts
  • Produce and reconcile auction day invoices for buyers
  • Manage payments
  • Full management of pre and post-sale vendor accounts
  • Front of house; answering telephone calls, emails and dealing with members of the public
  • General administration and filing
  • Management of the auction database and online bidding systems
  • Dealing with account enquiries pre and post auctions
  • Conducting Anti-Money Laundering checks when required

Working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5:00pm. The role may require occasional additional hours during an auction.
