The role

We are inviting both recent graduates and applicants who will graduate in 2024 to join us to start their careers in advertising sales. Our next induction training course for Graduate Advertising Sales Executives will commence during early summer 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, global business in a role that is designed to give you the skills and tools to excel within the media industry. Successful applicants can quickly become responsible for one of our highly successful advertising sections, selling both print and digital for one of our iconic brands. 

The training

We provide a unique opportunity to deliver results for our advertisers. To enable you to work with prospective clients effectively our Induction training course will guide you through all aspects of a commercial media role including: 

  • Learning how to present our brands to prospective clients by email, phone and zoom
  • Preparing presentations 
  • Marketing Theory 
  • How to source worthwhile and appropriate leads 
  • Copywriting 
  • Client liaison, including face-to-face meetings 

The team

You’ll be part of an extremely high-performing team who have just achieved highest-ever revenues for the eighth consecutive year. You will be working alongside other executives, as well as continuously learning from senior executives and managers within the team.

Many people who join this team progress to other senior roles within the company either in the commercial sales team or in a sales management role due to the high-quality training they receive.

What will you be doing?

  • Work to achieve both print and digital sales targets 
  • Contact and liaise directly with prospects and clients with a view to building revenue and customer relationships 
  • Manage page innovation, page design and layouts 
  • Work with clients to produce advertisements which generate results through creative copywriting and design 

Who you are

  • You need to have a degree in Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences 
  • Have a real passion for Condé Nast Brands 
  • Determined, highly motivated and ambitious 
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to work to deadlines 
  • Able to build strong relationships

You will be based in our beautiful Adelphi office Monday - Thursday (working from home Friday), with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
