Edenred PayTech is now hiring a Junior Project Manager, working across our Strategic Projects and New Markets, as part of the PayTech Market Delivery Success department.

The ideal candidate will be supporting the planning and resource management to ensure the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, including but not limited to ratification of the project scope, initiating and mobilizing project, directing and controlling project delivery up to operational readiness.

They will have experience using project management tools, templates and processes to manage the delivery program/projects in the most efficient way according to PayTech’s strategic imperatives.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the implementation of new solutions and transformation projects (ex. integration of new international payment schemes, new products/features, large Client migrations) from requirements through to product acceptance and rollout (including technical, legal, compliance/risk and financial work-streams).
  • Ability to work on parallel work streams encompassing IT and ancillary activities.
  • Monitor and control project delivery across internal teams and international teams/clients, identifying and challenging delays and obstacles.
  • Planning, effort estimations, and status reporting both internally and to clients.
  • Introduce change to existing client programmes with a focus on minimising potential impacts to on-going existing services to mitigate risk.
  • Capable of taking control of scope and avoiding scope creep, with effective management of change requests.
  • Identify amendments in client objectives with capacity to negotiate between core and future phasing to efficiently adhere to agreed timeframes.
  • Drive issue resolution, enable reporting, and manage escalations.
  • Support internal process and tool improvement projects.
  • Promoting and supporting services & solutions along with other team members to achieve company objectives.

What we want from you

  • Highly organised, with experience of working within an agile framework.
  • Advantage if previous experience in the payments industry.
  • Experience and comfortable working in an agile & fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a technology space with the ability to solve client business problems and issues within this domain.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder’s expectations whilst relying on strong communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to simplify and explain complex issues to a range of audiences.
  • Proven ability to present ideas and run workshops with clients.
  • Focus on delivery to agreed scope, quality and timeframe with customer satisfaction and deadline as a core principle.
  • Ability to multi-task across different projects & multiple objectives.
  • Fluent English is a must, with French, Spanish and/or Portuguese considered as a plus.
  • Ability to motivate others to attain desired delivery objectives and outcomes.
  • Positive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic and resilient.

Qualifications

  • Early years Project Management experience.
  • PM qualifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
