We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our sales team as a Business Development Coordinator in London. As a member of the sales team, you will start in an Inside Sales role, utilising your excellent communication skills to connect with clients and drive success. Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Hit a minimum quota of meetings booked and conducted week in, week out
- Understand and qualify customer needs and requirements
- Pro-actively develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of financial institutions ranging from global investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, broker-dealers and exchanges
- To follow our core values and be a proficient ambassador of the firm
About you
- Phone-based sales experience: 1-3 years, preferably in a service-led organisation
- Experience setting appointments and sourcing new clients
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with senior-level executives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record of working independently to deliver results
- To be a good team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organisational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn
- To be willing and able to work outside of the office (attending client sites etc.)
- To be willing and able to work flexible working hours and be responsive given the nature of being in a client-facing role
