As a Marketing Associate at Kainos, you will support in delivering the marketing campaigns and activities that are aligned to commercial needs and designed to drive brand awareness and lead generation to fuel sales pipeline. This will include supporting and executing on events and key programmes,

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Assisting with planned go to market activity: you will support and lead the delivery of events including research, planning and delivery. You will partner with sales colleagues and customers as part of event execution. You will ensure deliverables are met on-time and within budget and ensure tasks are updated regularly within the marketing plan.
  • Own research and administration of event management process. You will research and source suitable venues and speakers for event programmes and ensure all supporting documentation is maintained and updated.
  • Assist with content creation: Partner with customers and Kainos colleagues to develop content for event presentations, landing pages and email communications.
  • Support campaign development: Work with marketing colleagues to drive and implement in person and virtual campaigns across channels that achieve lead generation objectives. You will also support wider marketing activities in this area as and when needed
  • Contribute to reporting: Leverage marketing reporting tools to monitor and analyse the performance of events and provide updates to key stakeholders
  • Developing alliances with partners and user groups – supporting colleagues you will develop or foster strong relationships with Workday and liaise with external stakeholders and customers.
  • Working as part of a team - you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. Supporting and liaising with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business as needed.

Minimum (essential) requirements

  • Good understanding of marketing techniques including event management and social media
  • Willingness and desire to develop further expertise across all channels.
  • Event Management and Decision Making: Experience of event management and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, taking a balanced view of customer & business needs and requirements and communicating outcomes effectively.
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focussed, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding Kainos values
  • We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment; can-do attitude
  • Show resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes plus guidance and coaching from colleagues
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritise your workloads in a fast-paced environment, delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail within tight timeframes.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’
  • Comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure security of information at all times.

Desirable

  • Degree or professional qualification in a business or marketing related discipline.
  • Experience of working in a SaaS or Professional Services Technology company.
