Project Management Graduate

Do you want to use the knowledge and skills learnt in your degree to become a Project Manager?

Join our AQA Early Careers Scheme as a Project Management Graduate and you’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of critical, high impact projects which underpin AQA’s diversification and digital ambitions.

We’ve designed a programme which gives you hands-on project management experience, working in a fast-paced environment in cross-functional teams. As part of our programme you’ll also work towards a level 4 Project Management qualification, putting into practice the learning from the theory that the qualification gives you, as well as learning from a team of experience Project Managers throughout.

What’s involved? 

Working in our Projects and Programme Management function, you’ll be responsible for helping us deliver a portfolio of diverse change across our business. You’ll produce core project components such as plans, financial forecasts, business cases, and appropriate management information clearly and concisely to aid decision-making. You’ll also be encouraged to actively seek out opportunities which could align with our diversification and digital ambitions, contributing to the growth and transformation of the business.

You could also be responsible for:  

• Following appropriate project processes to ensure that projects meet wider programme and business needs within time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Working with colleagues across AQA to ensure that delivery plans are aligned with wider capacity plans, and resources are available to meet project needs.
• Being the driving force behind projects, ensuring that any issues are identified, communicated, and resolved in a timely way.
• Maintaining outstanding working relationships with key stakeholders, and clearly communicating project progress.

Who you are  

To be eligible for this role, you must have a degree in any subject area, except for in project management Due to the nature of our business and the market we operate in - predominantly A levels and GCSEs - you need to be over the age of 18 years from 1st September 2024 to avoid any potential conflict of interest.
