You will be required to work on projects for the ERC funded Labour Policies for Inclusive Growth in the Centre for Economic Performance, and associated core Centre projects. The topics of research will be the impact of technology, immigration and imperfect competition on the labour market.

About you

An undergraduate degree in Economics or other quantitative discipline to be completed by post start date is essential, as is experience of data work requiring great accuracy and attention to detail.

Essential criteria include: advanced experience of using programming languages such as STATA and R for analysing large scale micro data sets and the ability to learn new programming skills; experience of data work requiring great accuracy and attention to detail; ability to identify appropriate methods of economic investigation; ability to interpret and analyse patterns or trends in data; and ability to think through economic problems analytically; ability to perform literature reviews. The ability to work independently without close supervision is a requirement, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
