We currently have an opening for a Graduate Applications Development Scientist at Malvern Panalytical where you will:

  • Tackle real-world challenges by working with the R&D team towards understanding customers’ real challenges and how their samples properties affect data for providing an overall better user experience.
  • Develop your skills in different branches of product development, including customers’ requirements gathering and product verification.
  • Learn from the best in a collaborative environment with access to industry-standard tools.

About the role

  • Duration: Full time
  • Hours: 37.5 (This role operates in a flexi-time scheme. Overtime is unpaid)
  • Package: Competitive Salary + 25 days paid holiday + UK bank holidays, employee assist program and more
  • Location: Malvern
  • Hybrid working: Up to 3 days per week remote working

Qualifications

  • Due to graduate in 2024 with a relevant STEM degree such as Chemistry, Biology or Natural Sciences.
  • Creative thinking – design will be at the heart of this work.
  • An interest in understanding customer needs and communicating results.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • A scientific approach to problem solving.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Good laboratory skills to work safely while preparing a variety of different sample types for analysis.
