In this role, you will join a fast-growing team contributing to this exciting phase of Miller’s growth trajectory.

A large part of this role will involve sitting alongside Miller’s business units, helping to drive organic growth and empowering Miller’s brokers to win and retain business. By supporting Business Development across key territories, you will work on a range of strategic projects, co-ordinating and collaborating with a broad cross section of the business. Role responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with Territorial Group leaders on adoption of best practice tools such as Business Development trackers, ‘playbooks’ and other tools.
  • Gather information and research for territorial groups.
  • Support the Sales and Business Development function with efficient production of call/meeting notes and following up on internal action points that relate to clients and prospects.
  • Marketing/Territorial Liaison point, including ‘Playbooks’ – maintain/update as and when new contacts are required to be added or removed.
  • Assists with the creation of presentations, tenders and other collateral for both new and existing clients – strong MS PowerPoint skills required.
  • Help field incoming client enquiries and find the right team at Miller.
  • Become a Salesforce super user within the team for maintenance of up to date and high quality data (sales pipeline / tracker, account plans, cross sell and more as specified).
  • Maintain travel planners by checking in with teams on a monthly basis and picking up travel plans from the regular internal calls.
  • Support with other ad hoc projects – including event/conference planning and co-ordination.
  • Ensures Trip Notes are stored on Miller’s Intranet/Salesforce and are accessible to Territorial Groups.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the CS&D content on Miller’s Intranet (MINT) to promote best practices internally.
  • Promotes effective use of internal email distribution groups and Teams sites by posting relevant content and information on a regular basis.
  • The role will need to be flexible, will evolve as the business grows, and additional projects show up i.e cross selling, plug and play etc.

Qualifications

  • CII qualifications - desirable

Knowledge

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Project Management experience - desirable

Experience

  • Work experience essential
  • Insurance industry experience - desirable
  • Experience of producing report and briefing papers
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting Data
  • Marketing background helpful / transferable
