The Paid Marketing Department is responsible for running all campaign activity across our suite of 30+ marketing partners including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Taboola, Tiktok, Outbrain and more. We also have a Marketing Innovation Team that’s focused on enhancing our creative superpowers by ensuring and facilitating creative excellence across the Paid Marketing department.

We manage and experiment with over $120M media spend per year, resulting in over 5 billion impressions a month, so you’ve probably seen our ads somewhere around the internet!

Unlike agency or client teams, we have complete freedom to optimise all aspects of the funnel to deliver client, customer and MVF goals. That is because MVF retains end-to-end control over its customer generation funnels, from media mix, targeting and creative, to websites and our brands.

The role

You will begin with our 12-week training program designed to take you to expert rapidly, covering all aspects of Biddable Performance Marketing: the fundamentals of Paid Social & Native advertising, campaign set-up, creative, targeting, bidding, optimisation and scaling (and much more!), with pop quizzes and regular tests along the way to cement your knowledge and gather feedback.

Day-to-day, you will design, create, and manage high-performance ad campaigns across our core channels (primarily Native Advertising & Facebook) for the Global Home Subdivision. As a member of our team, you’ll develop strong analytical skills as well as a keen eye for turning insight into action.

We have a strong culture of creativity, too; you’ll be able to try out almost any creative idea you can think of. We also have our very own in-house creative services department, to support in bringing your ideas to fruition.

You’ll also have a key role in contributing to the strategy of the Global Home subdivision and how we can continuously innovate to provide the most value for MVF and our clients around the world, helping customers move, keep their families safe and eco-proof their homes for future generations.

Working alongside experienced and talented Paid Marketing Executives, Managers and Specialists, you’ll gain incredible insights into campaign execution, strategy and emerging trends, greatly accelerating your learning curve. Before you know it, you’ll be a true, all-round Paid Marketing expert!

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign management: Running paid digital marketing campaigns; building successful marketing campaigns from scratch, including engaging ad copy or creative, relevant audience targeting and keyword analysis.
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills: Using a variety of data sources to analyze ad performance data, e.g Click Through Rate, Conversion Rate, and how they impact revenue and profit.
  • Stakeholder management: Building relationships with other MVF teams, keeping them up to date with campaign performance and any issues or opportunities you or your team have encountered.
  • Commercial awareness: Demonstrating an interest in commercial factors behind the marketing, and being comfortable explaining to others what impact these factors have on performance.
  • Producing killer marketing content: Producing marketing creative, copy and other content to tight deadlines.
  • Problem solving: Showing a creative and innovative approach to problem solving, and being able to explain your logic to different stakeholders.
  • Ambition and drive: Showing a strong desire to drive to be world class
  • Technical knowledge: Proving a thorough understanding of our marketing platforms, both theoretical (how the platform/auction works) and practically (how to do more complex tasks).

What success looks like

  • You’ll make a stellar contribution towards the company vision, commercial goals and client success metrics
  • You will deliver consistently against the responsibilities above within the Paid Marketing team & Global Home Subdivision
  • You'll independently prioritise your day-to-day workflow, based on commercial & business needs, regularly sharing wins & constantly working collaboratively to solve challenging campaign issues

Our ideal MVFer

  • A passion for digital marketing with 1-2 year of hands on performance marketing experience preferred, including implementation of optimization activities and tests
  • Logical problem solver with evidence of strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Commercially savvy and able to define and prioritise high-value tasks effectively
  • Passionate about delivering world-class ad content, both through visual design and copywriting
  • Seeks to learn every day and helps to improve the team and the company, with a proactive and independent approach to working life
  • Energetic, bright & proactive
