Marketing Administrator Ayr 2024

We are currently looking for an Marketing Administrator to join our team in our award-winning business at Auchincruive, Ayr.

The role is responsible for Marketing Administration within the busy and growing Europe, Middle East, Africa & India (iEMEA) Marketing team. The main area of responsibility includes Conferencing & Events and General Marketing administration for Food Safety, Animal Safety and Genomics business areas. The role works closely with marketing personnel responsible for Conferencing & Events, Digital Marketing, and Product and Customer Marketing.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the Conferencing and Events Coordinator in all areas of the event process including budgeting and ROI.
• Taking the lead on promotional stock, packing of event materials, logistics from Ayr and Rochdale, and arranging any other materials for our presence at events/conferences throughout iEMEA.
• Leading on specific external customer communications with support from the Digital Marketing team for campaign elements, such as web, email or social.
• Leading the purchasing process by creating all purchase requisitions. Handling any invoices, budget tracking and management for all marketing activity.
• Delivering regular financial reports to the team on marketing spend, working closely with Purchasing and Accounts departments.
• Taking ownership of translation file set up, translation co-ordination and budgeting, ensuring value for money through effective co-ordination for both Food & Animal Safety marketing teams.
• Providing other administrative support such as document and presentation formatting, literature and promotional material management, logistics support for sales and marketing meetings.

About you

• You’ll have at least 1 year’s marketing or administration experience in a fast paced environment.
• You’ll possess excellent organisational and planning skills.
• You’ll have the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and work to tight deadlines.
• You’ll have an understanding of marketing and digital marketing channels and principles.
• You will be proficient with Microsoft packages and be able to learn quicky, gaining proficiency with sales and marketing software platforms.
• You’ll be self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail.
• Digital marketing and/or conferencing and events experience would be an advantage.
• Having a marketing or event qualification would be an advantage.
