The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.

About the role

Within this varied, fast-paced role you’ll work within a friendly and supportive team to provide technical production and administrative support to help enable ELT digital products to be delivered to schedule, within budget and to the required standard. The successful candidate will provide assistance with project management tasks and product conceptualization activities.

Responsibilities will also include

  • Co-ordinating the receipt and delivery of asset handovers
  • Asset processing
  • Liaising with external developers and other team members
  • Enabling content input into interactive templates
  • Creating and maintaining web pages
  • Functionality and cross-platform compatibility testing
  • Attending project meetings
  • Archiving multimedia assets
  • Providing general administrative support to the project teams when required

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn and work with a variety of products.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About you

You’ll be a pro-active and self-motivated individual who has an interest in the digital world. The successful candidate will have:

Essential

  • Some experience and/or knowledge of working in a digital environment
  • A high standard of literacy and attention to detail and good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both third-party suppliers and members of in-house project
  • Great organizational skills
  • A working knowledge of HTML, XML and Adobe Creative Suite

Desirable

  • Previous experience testing software
  • Previous experience within the education and/or publishing environment
