About this role

Pennington Choices is a UK wide consultancy and surveying company working across the built environment. We have a unique opportunity to join our established Consultancy team, as we embark on our next five year growth strategy.

Our Consultancy team provide specialist advice, assurance and support to our clients across the built environment including building safety, property compliance, regulatory compliance and governance, asset management, net zero and sustainability, organisational change, and health and safety.

Role objectives

  • Consultancy projects – support delivery of consultancy projects across a range of clients and sectors, activities to include document and data reviews, data analysis, delivery of workshops and interviews to gather information, project and resource planning, progress reporting, report writing, triangulating evidence and presenting findings.
  • Data analysis – interrogating, appraising and evaluating data as part of consultancy projects or wider business activities.
  • Client engagement – building client relationships and developing strong networks with stakeholders across our core sectors. Writing high quality reports that meet client needs, and presenting to a range of stakeholders.
  • Research and knowledge management – supporting research projects including scoping, planning and analysis.
  • Business development – supporting the delivery of sales and marketing to secure a strong pipeline of projects, for example, development of bid proposals, participation in podcasts and webinars, and blog writing.
  • Quality assurance – deliver in line with our quality assurance framework and support quality assurance audits of work carried out, to support continuous improvement and learning.
  • Performance management – ensure the achievement of all agreed operational and commercial business objectives and key performance indicators (for example, team utilisation and financials).
  • Personal development – take ownership of your own development pathway (with appropriate support).
