NGF Europe Limited, part of the Creative Technology Strategic Business Unit, is at the forefront in the manufacture and marketing of specialised Glass Cord products, supplying to timing belt manufacturers worldwide in all the major car-manufacturing countries. Glass Cord is also used in many non-automotive synchronous drive applications; including belts for domestic appliances, industrial machinery, office equipment and power tools. The Company is entering an exciting phase in developing a new generation of added-value products to existing and new customers, going beyond the foundations of glass fibre cords reinforcing rubber belts.

The role

A vacancy has arisen for a Manufacturing Graduate in the Operations Department of NGF Europe Limited. The main features of the role include:

  • Production planning and supply chain support
  • Administration of production data systems and generation of month-end production analyses
  • Involvement in health and safety activities, ensuring hazards are identified and eliminated; and the highest standards achieved
  • SAP Key user for the Operations function; and Site Expert in handheld scanners
  • Support the 4IR team to effectively implement solutions to deliver value to the process
  • Contribute to a range of continuous improvement activities, including maximising production performance, supporting housekeeping standards (5S) and reducing energy consumption and environmental impacts.

The successful candidate will….
