The role

Due to expansion into new markets, we have an opportunity for a Product Developer to project manage the development of new products (including model cars) and ensuring projects are delivered on time. You will work closely with all departments to plan and prepare information, keeping to agreed timelines for launch dates to market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement processes, control and structure to approve all IP and model data
  • Implement measures and processes to collate and store data, check and approve samples with IP and Suppliers
  • Manage the development and database of product concepts, specifications and prototypes, conducting online research to obtain market data and customer feedback
  • Create and maintain organised records and documentation of all products and specifications
  • Liaise with the clients and the factories, and send out information to the licensee, including liveries and CAD data
  • Analyse data and prepare reports for the Sales, Marketing and E-Commerce teams
  • Research new business opportunities within new Toy sectors and support the team in marketing new projects
  • Provide feedback to the Management team on market opportunities and developments
  • Use of CAD data would be an advantage
  • Support the Sales, Marketing and E-Commerce teams in other tasks as required

About you

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in project management or product development with a relevant degree qualification in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience. You will be process-led and highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and excellent data analysis skills, communication skills and time management skills to deal with changing priorities. You will be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office and Excel, and be familiar with CAD data software.
