Job description

The ‘Collective’ is a cross-agency Publicis team providing a seamless service for the global automotive client – including brands such as Fiat, Vauxhall, Alfa-Romeo, Jeep. In the UK, the team is made up of Saatchi’s, Starcom and Digitas and the remit covers advertising, social, website and eCRM.

In this role, you’ll be supporting the Social Media Manager. You’ll own the community management for your brands (currently Jeep, Fiat, DS, Alfa-Romeo), responding to consumers with an engaging and on-brand tone-of-voice. You’ll also support on reporting, scheduling and creating posts.

You’ll also need to work closely with the media agency, the rest of the social media team and the copywriter to deliver best practice and have a test-and-learn approach across brands.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the online communities through engaging community management
  • Be proactive around ideas to improve the service we give to clients
  • Escalate issues quickly and concisely to your line manager so they can be addressed
  • You’ll be working with a wide range of people, from our customer care team, all the way through to learning from consumers
  • Understand the client’s business and use this to pre-empt requests
  • Manage and set expectations with your clients, building trust through open relationships.

Qualifications

  • Understand the value social media brings to brands
  • Be open to learning and curious to know more
  • Have a passion for digital and social media with an understanding of mainstream social networks
  • Ability to build strong relationships across a multitude of departments, disciplines and levels of stakeholder
  • Able to be an essential member of the client team while always supporting the agencies approach and delivering against the agencies agenda
