About the Team

Rapid7’s Emerging Talent team is responsible for attracting and hiring the next generation of talent for our company. Our programmes are built with the future in mind, and we’ve gotten really good at bringing in, developing, and retaining top talent from local universities in the regions in which we work.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to support the recruiting and programming for our early career programmes in the EMEA region. Based in Belfast, you will work alongside our Emerging Talent TAP to maintain the large scale programme we have in place locally, and implement a brand new programme in our recently-opened Prague office. You will have the opportunity to make an impact on programmes both old and new, so we are looking for someone who can be innovative and bring fresh ideas to the foundation we have built.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain existing relationships with local universities/colleges in Belfast
  • Establish new partnerships with local universities, including career staff and university faculty
  • Identify, coordinate, and attend university recruiting events such as career fairs, networking events, and classroom visits
  • Help build our emerging talent brand by partnering with our talent brand team. Researching and making recommendations to help position Rapid7 as an employer of choice in the community
  • Drive awareness internally of our on campus efforts and manage involvement from internal stakeholders
  • Partner with People Development team to create internship programme and onboarding experience across multiple locations
  • Work with hiring managers to set expectations, understand job requirements and establish process for identifying and hiring intern talent
  • Actively recruit on intern requisitions, which includes screening resumes, phone screens, oversight of interview process, and offers
  • Foster relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team stakeholders

The skills you’ll bring include

  • 1 -2 years in a recruiting, people strategy, or related position
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and extremely organised.
  • Detail-oriented; can handle simultaneous projects with moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solving - ability to think of creative ideas to complex problems
  • Ability to adapt to change in an evolving environment
  • Relationship builder - you are able to build strong, collaborative stakeholder & candidate relationships with strong communication skills.
  • Innovative mindset - always looking to improve processes and improve the experience for the end user
