Schneider Electric Ireland Graduate Programme

Working as part of the Schneider Electric UK & Ireland Tendering Team where we support all industries & segments, including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life sciences, Commercial buildings, Renewables, Utilities, and others, preparing commercial & technical offers to meet the service needs of our customers.

Our UK & Ireland Services Tendering Team develop commercial and technical proposals for our broad range of customers & segments from our broad range of Services including:

  • Digital Services: where we provide connected products, sensors, services & software enabling remote monitoring of the installed assets in terms of health and performance, requiring a good understanding of our equipment and Software Services.
  • Power Services: where we provide proposals to maintain, repair, modernise and replace Low & Medium Voltage products including Transformers Air Circuit Breakers AIS & GIS Switchgear, requiring a good understanding of Electrical Distribution Networks & Systems.
  • Secure Power Services: where we provide service proposals for our vast range of Secure Power & Cooling products such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), Chillers & similar cooling products across many industries & segments, requiring a good knowledge IT Buildings & Systems.
  • Industry Services: where we provide a broad range of services associated with PLC’s, Variable Speed Drives, Motion Controllers, HMI’s and many other industry related products therefore requiring a good understanding of this equipment and the required services to attach.

We look for candidates with the following skillsets

  • A good knowledge of Electrical Systems with a solid understanding Low/High Voltage Distributions Systems.
  • A team work mentality with self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and good time management skills who is prepared to work to strict deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, essential for both internal and external contacts.
  • Knowledge or experience of Low or Medium Voltage Switchgear and associated equipment would be an advantage however training will be provided.
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical Distribution & Control Drawings to determine the basic requirements would be desired.
  • A customer focus with experience of the Schneider product offerings would be advantageous however training on the products and Services will be provided
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Project and program management.
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of Office programs (email / word/ excel/ PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to prepare Commercial Offers to customers.
