Are you looking for an apprenticeship that offers varied and interesting opportunities whilst working for a Global organization? Smiths Group is a global leader in engineering services and products for critical markets such as energy, safety, security and data and right now we have an exciting opportunity to earn as you learn and provide a real-world introduction to kickstart your career in the Finance field.

Based in the heart of London’s definitive cultural neighborhood, Arbor - a hub for interaction, creativity, and inspiration located in the hyper mixed, fossil-fuel free Bankside Yards. We are aiming for an early September start.

For this Finance Graduate position, you will spend three years working across Smiths Group, completing a number of rotations (examples of some areas you may work in are: internal audit, financial planning and analysis, general accounting, tax & treasury). Our programme also includes the opportunity to spend one of your rotations working abroad in one of our businesses. Smiths will also support you gaining the ACCA qualification. You’ll be highly visible to senior leaders and will be fully supported by a programme manager, line manager and mentor.

You will be supported by a graduate programme manager throughout the three-year programme to ensure that you reach your potential and have the skills you need to succeed in the organisation. Once you gain an accredited qualification – ACCA – across the three years, you will move to a Finance role in one of our global businesses after the successful completion of the programme.

About you

  • Minimum 2:1 in any degree subject
  • Strong interest in finance and business
  • Committed and able to work in a changing environment.
  • Strong social and relationship skills
  • Self-starter and self-sufficient - will hit the ground running.
  • Additional languages desired but not essential
  • Strong desire to work across a global business.
