Established in 2011, Lextox is a well-established ISO17025 UKAS accredited testing laboratory based in Cardiff providing drug, alcohol and DNA testing services for family law cases and childcare proceedings and forms part of the SYNLAB Group. SYNLAB in the UK is a trusted expert in clinical laboratory and medical diagnostic services.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to join our Finance team in Cardiff, on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your expertise whilst contributing to our organisation’s growth.

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will be integral to our Finance team, supporting various aspects of financial analysis, reporting and strategic planning.

The role

  • Gathering, reviewing and analysing business and industry data.
  • Utilising Sage/CRM and Power Bi to develop management reports and dashboards.
  • Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards for the company.
  • Budget analysis, tracking and reporting.
  • Providing analytical support for the wider business as required.
  • Overseeing the ongoing IDAHO transformation programs.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders within the business.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident in using Microsoft packages, including Excel.
  • Previous experience within a business analyst role.
