About the role
We are looking for a Junior Product Analyst for our Global Partner Analytics team who will help craft the best experiences for our range of Partners through supporting product teams with data-driven decision making.
In this role you’ll be working with high-level stakeholders and be able to build multifaceted data products, providing analysis and recommendations to directly support product decisions, commercial decisions, and business strategy. You’ll be adding value from day one, and the role will give you exposure to working with all internal pillars, providing a wide range of learning opportunities to grow and develop your analytical skills.
What you’ll focus on
- Discovery: You will proactively use BigQuery and Redshift to gain a deep understanding of our Partner products to detect product opportunities, problems and experiment ideas
- Recommendations: Not only will you be required to explore the data; we expect you to provide insights and recommendations to the Partner Product organisation, whilst learning how to define and validate key metrics for our function
- Reporting and visualization: Your presentation of data will help product teams make the right data-driven decisions, allowing them to self serve and interpret data quickly, easily and accurately
- Supporting Product teams: You will work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to effectively gather their requirements and understand problem areas to respond to ad hoc requests and support larger strategic projects
- Data standardization: Collaborating with a number of different teams, you will work towards achieving our data governance standards
What we’re looking for
- Relevant work or academic experience, preferably with a strong background in Maths or Science, with a proven ability to demonstrate strong analytical and numeracy skills with great attention to detail
- Experience in SQL and any data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) desired but not essential
- Proactive self-starter who is curious about how to get the most from our data
- Team player; works well with others to deliver as part of a team with the ability to confidently engage their peers and stakeholders
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Down-to-earth, eager to learn, and driven to have a positive impact on the people around you
