About the role

We have opportunities for Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineers to join our Geo-environment team working in contaminated land, site investigation and brownfield redevelopment across a variety of market sectors including property & regeneration, defence estates and transport. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the team with the opportunity to progress their career across a range of exciting projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in this field and ideally have some limited work experience such as a work placement role.

  • Assisting with the design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.
  • Undertaking desk top study assessments
  • Accurate collection and analysis of site data
  • Producing detailed reports
  • Undertaking ground gas & groundwater monitoring works and assessment.

Qualifications/skills

  • You will have a minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or related subject
  • The enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress within the fields of contaminated land, site investigation, brownfield redevelopment and geotechnical engineering.
  • You will be familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create, manage and analyse information.
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification
  • Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Preferable to have relevant work experience e.g. a work placement
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Full Driving Licence and ideally access to a vehicle
