What is the opportunity?
Under direct supervision, demonstrates a working understanding of the activities performed related to DevOps engineering, installation and/or operations of infrastructure technologies. These activities include diagnostic testing, technical analysis and engineering support associated with approved vendor products, engineering packages and installed solutions. Ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities. This job does not manage others.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using approved tools.
- Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate pipelines into the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Set up logging systems for tracking and analyzing system logs, application logs, and performance metrics.
- Respond to alerts and incidents promptly to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet the needs of the development and operations teams.
- Work closely with software developers to understand application requirements and support their efforts in achieving automated and efficient workflows.
- Implement security best practices in all aspects of the DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular security assessments and address vulnerabilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What will our ideal candidate have?
- Associate's degree in Technology or a related field preferred.
- Prior technology internship or work experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of an infrastructure technology preferred.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following technical skills:
- Foundational IT Infrastructure.
- Operating Systems.
- Software.
- Basic knowledge
What is a must have?
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
