Turley has an opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join our team based in Manchester.

We’re looking for a highly numerate Credit Control Administrator to join our busy client focused Finance team to help meet the aims of the team and company.

About the role

Joining Turley’s Finance team as our Credit Control Administrator, you will work with a high level of autonomy to support the credit control and purchase ledger teams, building your knowledge and skills in different areas of Accounts and Finance work.

What will you be doing as our Credit Control Administrator?

  • Effective and timely management of a busy email inbox, managing and prioritising requests, liaising with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations
  • Accurate setup and onboarding of new clients, including daily due diligence and credit checks
  • Cashiering; daily reconciliation of payments in and out of our multi-currency banking facilities (sterling and euros), ensuring 100% accuracy of client records
  • Maintain Recoveries and Insolvencies records
  • Support Credit controllers with administrative tasks to progress debtor resolutions such as statements of account, copy invoices and mailings
  • Provide ad hoc administrative cover for our central Finance team including processing expenses and posting purchase invoices

What are we looking for in a Credit Control Administrator?

  • Solid basic Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office packages are essential.
  • Equally important is a proactive approach to client service and problem solving which means ‘First Time Resolution’ for client requests and queries
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • The ability to manage your own workload
