In this role, you will be supporting the delivery of our DEIB and Wellbeing Strategy, implementing initiatives and embedding an inclusive culture in the business. You will be working closely with the Belonging, Equity and Engagement Advisor to deliver on a range of activities. This is a very hands on role, and provides a great opportunity to develop your DEIB and wellbeing knowledge.The role will report into the BEE Advisor, and work within the wider People Team.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities will be developed and finalised over time, and will include but will not be restricted to:

  • First point of contact for Belonging, Equity and Engagement queries, monitoring shared inboxes.
  • Supporting the development of our employee networks.
  • Supporting the delivery of our Employee Engagement and DEIB & Wellbeing Surveys.
  • Maintain systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the BEE Team.
  • Administrative duties, hospitality, event and meeting organisation.
  • Developing communications for a wide range of channels.
  • Reporting on, analysing and presenting data from a wide range of sources.
  • Working collaboratively with the People Team to deliver projects across the business.

What we're looking for in you

  • Understanding, passion and awareness of DEIB & Wellbeing (for employees), and a commitment to supporting delivery of our DEIB & Wellbeing activities.
  • Confident in working autonomously, highly organised, ability to manage own workload and prioritise activity to deliver required outcomes within a busy and fast moving environment.
  • Developing and maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships within your Team and across the organisation - sustaining the People Teams reputation as a customer focussed function.
  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst also maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work confidently with confidential information.
  • Demonstrable resilience - some of the work we do can be triggering, and/or stressful.
  • Evidence of strong administrative and organisational skills, including excellent IT capabilities spanning MS Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and capacity to swiftly pick up bespoke IT systems and tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Creative, with an ability to produce communications in different formats.
