Job purpose

To deliver sustainable web application solutions, using open web standards and open source technologies, in support of the GeoData and the University’s IT needs:

Suitable candidates will have a computing or software development qualification (or equivalent experience). You must be able to demonstrate knowledge in the application of web development and data management technologies. You must have good analytical and problem solving skills.

The position offers the opportunity to work with spatial data and web maps so an interest in developing skills in this area, or existing skills would be useful.

It offers 30 days holiday and bank holidays plus 6 additional “University days” and an excellent pension.
