The team

You will be an integral part of the dynamic and collaborative UpSlide team, working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about transforming the way people work with Microsoft Office. You'll be working directly with your BDA Manager and Head of Sales.

As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a crucial role in driving our success by researching industries, executing targeted outreach campaigns, and securing meetings with senior executives to create new business opportunities. Your responsibilities

We’re looking for outstanding people who are energetic, determined, and super smart to join our Business Development team as Associates (SDR/BDR). This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing, profitable, and self-funded start-up, learn valuable business development skills, and make an impact.

You’ll work closely with the Business Development team to seek out new business opportunities and start meaningful conversations with potential clients in the UK and beyond. We leverage smart strategies and channels to deliver high-impact results.

  • Conducting market research and identifying potential clients
  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners
  • Providing support to the sales team on all aspects of the sales process
  • Research companies, sectors, and markets to optimise our approach
  • Work closely with the senior business development team to strategise on key accounts
  • Define and implement intelligent outbound campaigns – email, phone, events, and more
  • Identify and target future key clients and contacts
  • Secure initial meetings with senior executives and create new business opportunities
  • Look for opportunities to innovate and optimise lead generation
  • Implement a multi-prong approach to targeting accounts, including emails/phone calls/LinkedIn

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum 2:1 or equivalent from a university or business school
  • An entrepreneurial and determined spirit while being a goal-driven team player
  • An intelligent, analytical, and curious mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills in line with our values: Excellence, Trust, and Happiness at work
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

We’d love it if:

  • You have experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or marketing
  • You have familiarity with financial and professional services
  • You are familiar with a second language
