Are you an ambitious and aspiring future Commercial Manager, recently graduated and would loaf to build a career in the FMCG industry with the UK’s most chosen brand? Then our Commercial Graduate roles here at Warburtons will be great for you!

The recipe

We’re proud of our heritage and we love our brand, we know you will too!

Working alongside our Commercial team, you’ll be given responsibility from the get-go, acting as a brand ambassador and guardian for our products. Upon joining, you will take part in our 2-3 year Commercial Academy programme which will provide you with a strong business and commercial understanding of our products and services. We believe in learning by doing, so after an initial induction you will be delegated your own territory and will start selling Warburtons products straight away!

As a Commercial Graduate, you will spend your first 12 months in the field nationally visiting customers to help drive their business and ours out in stores, followed by a move into other Commercial areas up in the North West. People and values are our most vital ingredient, so it’s also important that you build relationships and collaborate well with colleagues across the business.

Training and development never stops at Warburtons, we’ll be focused on your path throughout your career. We always look to continuously develop employees in all levels of business, this isn’t just a job, it’s a career with lots of opportunities.

The role

We’re looking for a number of highly enthusiastic, motivated commercial colleagues with a passion and love for food retail (and bakery puns!)

Our 2-3 year Commercial Academy programme provides the opportunity for you to gain experience out in the field, getting to know how our business and customers operate in your first 12 months, then moving into other Commercial areas of the business in Head office after this.

Commercial is one of the most exciting and innovative areas of Warburtons, with various teams in Customer, Category, Marketing Communications, Product Management, Innovation, Instore Sales and Supply Chain areas; each leading and supporting the business on a range of exciting sales initiatives and brand campaigns throughout the year to ensure we feed the nation with their No. 1 brand in bakery.

We are also proud to have developed and delivered marketing campaigns that have featured George Clooney, Peter Kaye, Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone and most recently Samuel L Jackson. Whilst we can't promise you’ll rub shoulders with this bunch of impressive A listers- you will be working with highly experienced and skilled colleagues that also know how to earn their crust!

Whichever function you then follow, by the end of your programme you will have gained all the necessary Commercial skills and knowledge you need to set you up for success, but your journey doesn’t stop there, as this programme gives a great foundation to accelerate your career to ultimately become a senior leader in our business.

We are dedicated to your future, as it is essential to ours.
