The role

As the Data Scientist at XYZ Reality, you'll have the opportunity to be a major part of our data function. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a passion for augmented reality to contribute to the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models for our AR solution. The successful candidate will help drive the data science efforts, working closely with the engineering and product teams to deliver cutting-edge AR experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Development of machine learning models, AI algorithms, and advanced analytics to enhance our AR experiences.
  • Implement solutions to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources.
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models to improve accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate data science capabilities into the AR product, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to streamline data pipelines and ensure efficient data processing and model training.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (and associated machine learning services.
  • Expertise in relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
