Bright Network is the UK’s largest student careers network connecting over 250,000 students with the best career opportunities at over 300+ top intern and graduate employers.

We know that finding the career that’s right for you is one of the biggest challenges you’ll face alongside your degree, and we’re here to give you everything you need – whether you're deciding what it is you want to do, or looking for the steps you need to take to get there. Here we've listed out some of the ways we can help all our members, as well as some questions that we get frequently asked. 

Is Bright Network free? 

Yes Bright Network is completely free for our members and always will be!

I’m looking for a role with an immediate start. Can Bright Network help? 

Most graduate schemes start in September or March but many employers take graduates straight away. We can help you search for an immediate position. 

Email your CV and career preferences to and one of our membership services team will be on hand to help. 

I’m looking for part time work, can Bright Network help me?

Bright Network focuses on career related opportunities. Therefore, the only roles we offer for during university are internships, placements and insights. You can find a full list of these here

If you’re looking for part time work, your university may offer guidance or you could enquire about opportunities in the local area. 

I’ve graduated, can you help me? 

Of course we can. Bright Network focuses on the student community, but we usually have a number of opportunities for those who’ve graduated in the last few years.

I’ve secured a graduate role or internship. Am I eligible for a bottle of champagne? 

If you’re a Bright Network member and the role is with a firm we work with then you are absolutely eligible for a bottle of champagne. Here’s a full list of our partner firms

Email telling us about the role you’ve been offered and we’ll arrange a date and time when you can visit us in our London office and pick up your bubbly. 

I’d like to share my story and be featured on the Member Success Story page - how do I do this?

What is Bright Network Academy? 

Bright Network Academy is a brand new platform designed to teach you new skills and impress leading employers. It is dedicated to skills you would often learn in the workplace and is created by experts in their fields. With everything from core career skills, to free psychometric tests, there's everything you need to secure your dream role in one easy place.

How do I sign up for the Commercial Awareness update? 

To sign up for your weekly update, tailor your profile on the Bright Network website and tick the Commercial Awareness box. You’ll then receive the update straight your inbox every Monday evening. 

What is the Bright Network Career Calendar? And how do I start using it? 

The Bright Network Career Calendar is an excellent way to collate all of your application deadlines and career events into one place. To ensure you never miss an application deadline, we’ll send you notifications straight to your inbox. 

If you’re a Bright Network member, you can start using your personalised career calendar straight away. Simply search for opportunities you’re interested in here and start adding them to the calendar. 

I would like to improve my CV. Can Bright Network help me? 

A CV is your entry path into the professional world and is essential to getting through the first stage of any application process. If you’ve got no idea where to start, follow our seven step process to creating an excellent CV. We also have a variety of CV templates located here, use these as a starting step. 

Here at Bright Network we offer plenty of CV advice and guidance. If you’d like a free CV check or have any specific questions about yours, email our membership services team and they’ll be able to help -

Do you check cover letters? 

Unfortunately we cannot check individual cover letters. Members have the opportunity to get a free CV check by emailing with your CV attached.
