We're delighted to announce our inaugural Bright Network Society of the Year Awards and we want you to be involved. It takes a lot of organisation, hard work and perseverance running a society to help fellow students, especially when offering support for students' future career. At Bright Network and across our partner firms, we want to celebrate the amazing work that societies at UK universities have done throughout 2018.

How does my society enter?
To enter one of the awards, here are the steps your society needs to follow
To start your application, we're looking for you to submit a short trailer (max. 2 minutes and in MP4 format), covering which award your society is applying for, what your society has achieved this year and why the award will support your society moving forward. It should really demonstrate your society's personality and include key members. It doesn’t need to be of Hollywood movie quality but do your best to show us, and the sponsoring firms, how great you are. The application deadline for the awards is Monday 12th November 2018.
After the initial stage, three societies for each award will be selected to join us and partner firms sponsoring the awards at the Bright Network Society of the Year Awards. Taking place in central London on Wednesday 5th December, you'll be treated to a networking lunch with the firms and will give a short presentation about your society. The winners will be selected on the day and win the funding from the firm.
Why should your society get involved?
It's a fun process, which gives all societies the chance to showcase their excellence. Here's what it can offer you
National exposure - take your society to the next level and win an award which will publicise your societies to world-leading employers and the student population
Unrivalled access to firms - your society members will have an excellent chance to network with firms and help your society members boost their career prospects
Funding - each firm sponsor will be providing funding to the winning society of their award.
