The role

We're looking to hire a Front End Developer to join the team as we invest heavily into new products and services within our digital platform. You will join and contribute to a highly effective development team who will deliver our ambitious roadmap plans to realise our business goals. Working with the Head of Engineering you will deliver exciting new platforms and services that will increase our capabilities and create exceptional experiences for members and clients.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Hands-on front end developer delivering code, troubleshooting & code debugging
  • Delivering UX/UI features and improvements needed to achieve our business goals
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for the best user experience
  • Creation and translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
  • Innovation in our technical delivery and product features
  • Identifying and adapting the UX/UI infrastructure to adopt new and best practice technologies


  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in front end web development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UX/UI Design or related subject
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Working in an agile development environment (i.e. SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3; server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS; and client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc a plus
  • Proficient ability in wireframing & design platforms (e.g. Balsamiq, InVision, etc)
  • Pref small business or startup experience a plus
