Who we are
We’re a welcome, inclusive community for supporters of multicultural and international colleagues. We’re open to everyone regardless of background and our network is spread right across our offices. We’re devoted to promoting the interests of the diverse workforce within Allianz UK.
What we do
Internal social and networking events, network calls, promotion of diverse colleagues, charity events and mentoring.
We work closely with HR offering a voice that ensures policies are as inclusive as possible, undertake statistical analysis of cultural diversity within the company and highlight any issues affecting colleagues from international or Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
We interact with our other employee networks, sharing experience and thoughts across the diversity and inclusion spectrum and we get involved with external networks to ensure we’re aware of and contributing our voice to industry-wide multicultural initiatives.
Why we exist
As part of a global company, we recognise that having colleagues from diverse backgrounds makes for a more stimulating workplace, produces more innovation and ensures we understand all perspectives in a changing market. Ultimately this helps our company and its employees prosper. We’re passionate about making our workplace as inclusive and culturally aware as possible, and our network provides a focal point to initiate discussion about the experiences of BAME and international colleagues in Allianz UK. We use that voice to influence the culture of the whole company, from the CEO through to our newest interns.
It’s why we’re the Employee Network for Race and International Cultural Heritage – we passionately believe that cultural diversity enriches who we are as people, our workplace and the world at large.
