Social mobility sits at the heart of Bright Network’s mission. Whatever your background, we want you to have the skills and resources to secure a top role with a leading employer – that’s why Bright Network: Breaking Barriers is returning for a second year.
With three employer-led skills sessions on key qualities sought after by employers, this virtual event is designed to equip you with the tools to feel confident and stand out when submitting applications and in interviews for internships and graduate-level positions.

Take part in four targeted skills workshops focused on interviews, commercial awareness and authenticity in the workplace, all designed to give you the best possible start in the application process.

Who can attend
Undergraduate or full-time postgraduate students graduating in 2022, 2023 or 2024 (or 2025 if already at university and on a four-year course)
On track for at least a 2:1 and have demonstrated academic excellence
Those who are attending university in the UK or the Republic of Ireland
Additional skills gained from extracurricular activities/work experience will be viewed favourably, especially an interest in technology and coding experience.
Those who meet at least one of the following criteria:
Received free school meals from the government
Attended a state or grammar school
Your parents did not attend university
