Are you keen to explore career paths that empower you to discover and provide crucial data, insights and news that financiers need to make investment and commercial decisions? If so, this is the internship experience for you.

What does the Finance and Professional Services internship experience involve?

We’ve partnered with the leading firms BDOEY, HSBCLloyds Banking Group, Willis Towers Watson and PwC to run sector specific skills sessions to boost your employability and deepen your understanding of the sector. Here's what to expect:

Sector Overviews

You’ll receive an introduction session to help you solidify your foundational knowledge of the world of Finance and Professional Services. This will be followed up by five sector specialist sessions, taking your understanding to the next level and exploring the different core areas within the industry.

Real world project

Begin your work project to simulate real-life tasks you’d be responsible for during an internship at a Finance and Professional Services firm. You'll benefit from the opportunity to submit your work and receive insights into how you've performed, as well as where you could improve in future. 

Recognition

After you've finished the project you'll have access to a final skills session and some exclusive new content recorded for December 2020. You'll also receive a certificate on completion of the all stages of the course which demonstrate your skills and ability to employers. 

This is a free experience and can be completed fully virtually.

Key Dates

  • 25th November - Applications open
  • 13th December - Applications close at 10am
  • 14th December - Experiences launches - you'll be sent your pack and get an invitation to a 30 minute kick off call at 3pm  
  • 5th January - Experience finishes (submission deadlines) and a closing event at 4:00-5:15pm

Am I eligible and how do I apply?

This internship experience is open to every student and recent graduate over the age of 18. All you require is a Bright Network membership which is completely free, and you can complete when you start your application.
