Alpha Technology Services are a young and dynamic team of technical consultants and developers providing technology solutions to a range of clients in the Asset and Wealth Management sector. But what really makes it such a great place to work? We asked Ragnar Rahuoja, a developer who has been with the business for 8 months, what three things he loves most about working there.

1. Breadth and variety
The range of projects we work across means that my role is really interesting. I feel very lucky to be involved in a range of different types of technology solutions, all the way from concept design to implementation and training and solving all number of challenges that clients face. What's more, the types of clients we work with can vary hugely, from established brands to start-up type businesses who can be using some really innovative technologies. It's great!
2. Culture
Alpha really is filled with great and sociable people. Everyone in the business is very competent but also great fun to be around. The company as a whole gives individuals a lot of responsibility which is hugely empowering - this was really important for me and I think it attracts a type of person who enjoys thriving in this sort of environment. There is also a great level of trust within the team and the business more generally which fosters a really strong culture.
3. Level of technical knowledge
I really enjoy the technical expertise in the team and being able to work alongside individuals with 10-20 years of experience in financial technology and also digital transformation. There is a huge pool of knowledge to rely upon and nobody is hesitant to share it with you to help you learn. This makes for a great learning environment and also a culture which is hugely engaging and challenging.
