My graduate scheme experience
I was on the Lloyd’s Insurance Graduate scheme from 2018 to 2020. I had two placements within Lloyd’s in Treasury and Investments and Syndicate Capital Management, then moved into underwriting and broking placements in the market.

The Lloyd’s Graduate Scheme provided an excellent overview of the London Insurance market. The opportunity to gain insight in underwriting and broking, as well as seeing how the Lloyd’s corporation works alongside the market, was invaluable.
Shaping my career path with guidance and support
Lloyd’s supported me throughout the scheme by advising on which placements to select and offering personal and professional development opportunities. Lloyd’s also provided guidance on continuing my career after the scheme finished.
In particular, the training and support given whilst studying for the ACII qualification was a massive help in enabling me to complete the qualification during my time on the graduate scheme.
