Do you have any advice for applicants to the Vacation Schemes or Training Contract?
Don't be daunted by the online application. It takes time to fill out, but make sure you think about your answers and don't try to be anyone else but yourself.
At the interview stage take your time to think about your answer before answering – have a couple of deep breaths and relax. If you are really struggling to answer a question then don't be afraid to say "I don't know". Honesty is the best policy (especially for a lawyer)!
Why is diversity important and what have you seen Taylor Wessing do to create a diverse work force.
At Taylor Wessing there is a Diversity and Inclusion Committee who often host events aiming to improve diversity, for example our series of Woman in Business events. Taylor Wessing are also very proud to be Stonewall Diversity Champions.

What was the most important thing you learnt in your first week?
Besides the slightly overwhelming complications of the I.T systems, the most important point to remember when you start is to relax and be confident. Relax because no-one will bite your head off if you do something wrong, rather they will explain your mistakes so you can learn. Be confident because you will have deserved your opportunity to be there through hard work.
